3rd July is St. Thomas’ Day. However, the Parishioners celebrate the Feast of St. Thomas the Apostle, the Patron Saint of the Cathedral, on Sunday, 2nd July, nearest to the day. As in the past, we give thanks to God for the many blessings showered upon the Cathedral and pray for God’s continued blessing upon our work in the Parish.
As the Feast of St. Thomas’ is a major feast, Liturgical Processions were held during the 8.15am Solemn Liturgy and 5.30pm Evensong with Holy Communion. After the 5.30pm service, a simple dinner was held in the Parish Hall..
The Right Rev’d Aeries Sumping Jingan preached on the Gospel of St. John Ch.20 Vs.24-29 during the 6.45am service while The Rev’d Canon Michael Woods preached during the 8.15am service and Evensong service.
